This simple over-the-counter remedy may not be for everyone, but it works for me.
Curcumin is the active ingredient in turmeric, and it has powerful biological properties. Now I take it as a capsule every evening, and I enjoy turmeric tea during the day. Sometimes I will make a “shot” by grating ginger and turmeric and combining them with a bit of juice. Down the hatch, it goes. It might burn a bit.
If you were to just use turmeric powder, you would need at least 2 TABLESPOONS. That is a lot, so I stick with my capsule. It works wonders on my arthritis and is keeping my ferritin manageable. A big plus for me.
