August is at an end, and the kids are going back to school. In this house, no children are going back to school. They are all grown up and have jobs in the working world. It’s strange how you don’t think about summer holidays and personal development days, and things like that, when you no longer have children in the school system. I always view the end of summer as the 21st of September, the autumn equinox. It’s the time when I start preparing for the fall. I must admit that I’m already scouting out the Halloween decorations. You can find me at Winners or Home Sense just about every week. We do have the Halloween house after all!
The beginning of September marks the start, and I mean the heavy start, of the fall season when it comes to doing shows. This year, we have decided to limit ourselves to no more than three shows in a row. After all, hubby has a full-time job as well. And as always, we are heading to the UK on September 29th. We are always there for Thanksgiving.
I am really looking forward to this trip. We have made all kinds of arrangements for the house to be taken care of while we’re away. My youngest son is coming with us. And although he has been with us before, he’s never been to the southwest of England. I might be lying; I think we went there to see a boat builder about 15 years ago. We went to Stonehenge that day, as the builder lent us his car so we could see it. That was hubby’s first time driving in the UK. It was interesting, shall we say.
We have rented a cottage that we usually stay in, along with a car, so we can go for some drives. We are at an Airbnb in London. There are four of us in total; at this moment, a few people are still deciding. We usually go to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant for our traditional Sunday Thanksgiving lunch. I’m not sure what we’re going to do this year; we may just head to a pub and have a Sunday lunch there. That is one that I am going to leave to the boys.
Pre-book!
I will be at the Windsor show from September 5th to 7th. And I do have some room left for pre-booked appointments. Please email me to prebook and secure your preferred time. I have bookings as far ahead as London, so I encourage you to get your bookings in quickly. As always, I don’t require you to pay for them until you attend the show.

Deck Review – Celtic Goddesses Witches and Queens
When I opened the box and the book was staring me in the face, I felt the incredible strength of Maub (Maeve). Her raw energy and self-awareness hit you right in the face. I am no historian, so flipping through the cards, I became aware of the fact that there are more powerful women than I was aware of.
