At home…

I hope everyone had a wonderful Canada Day!

Did you have plans for the long weekend? 

We had an extra-long weekend, as my hubby took Monday off as well. We barbecued and took Duke to the beach, too. Long weekends are a great time for our family to relax. We take time for ourselves to recharge. I would love to say sleeping in, but …Duke. He is a dog of routine. There is no sleeping in!

July is the start of the kid’s holidays, and I can already hear them outside having fun. Last Sunday, hubby and the neighbour had ‘rock wars.’ It was all in good fun. I’m not sure which of the three houses won; my loyalty, of course, goes to my hubby.

We will be having a smaller barbeque this year in July. We moved it up so that the head crow of Three Loud Crows could make it. It would not be the same without her.

The last weekend of the month, I am on the road again to visit Salem for their ‘Witch City’ divination gathering. A friend from the UK is also meeting up. A good friend in Salem is happy to host me. One thing for sure on our list is going to ‘The Anchor’ for the ‘twins.’ That means going to a bit of a dive bar, where a woman is the lobster person, and the man is the cook. The ‘twins’ are two one-pound lobsters. There is a reason I only have lobster in Salem. It is the price. It is inexpensive and incredibly good. This is served with a soup bowl of butter!! Everyone laughs at me, trying to crack them open.

On the road…Ottawa!

Of course, the first weekend of August is me back on the road doing shows.

Deck Review!

William Blake Tarot of the Creative Imagination

It was fun to dive into this deck of 79 cards. Yes, I know, Tarot has 78 cards, and any more or less is an oracle. I will let you decide. The extra card in this deck is the 00 card representing Eternity. I do like this card and its meaning; “powerful creative or spiritual realization.” Yes, in my opinion, this card works in this deck.

The cards are a reimagining of William Blake’s art. There have been small tweaks in colours and some minor changes in the artwork to sharpen the images and all the detail that is so important in the tarot deck.

Home Parties

It is that time for home reading parties! They are being booked. If this is something you might be interested in, shoot me an email, and we can discuss it.

Summer is the slower time of year for me. I get it. Who wants to be inside when the sun is shining. This is when I start brainstorming offerings for the fall and 2026.

I am also working on my coaching and mentoring programmes at this time. I have space for both. Something that I am working on is a group mentoring class. This will be online via Zoom. It will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00. The class will have no more than five people and will run once a week for six months. Each session will be approximately 60 minutes. Shoot me an email if this is something you might be interested in.
