February Newsletter

January, the first month of the New year did not start out well for us. My Mother-in-Law became really sick. We were quite anxious for her. She seems to be on the mend now.

On January 2nd, our beloved dog Samy who had been a part of our lives for 13 years, crossed over the rainbow bridge. Here she is on her last day with us. We miss her very much!

So January was hard for us. But we have decided that all the bad stuff has already happened and we are to move forward. We will enjoy a quiet weekend followed by easy local travel to our February’s shows.

On the road…

One show change, we will not be attending the Belleville show. Also we have almost run out of $5 books but we will have lots of other sale items coming up.

Imbolc

Imbolc is about releasing what no longer serves you, making way for a new start. It is a great time to embrace spring cleaning.

Imbolc is the festival of Brigid, the goddess of healing, fire and the sun. Light candles or a fire to welcome her, for she brings fertility to the land and her people, and is associated with fertility and childbirth. She represents the goddess in her maiden form.

Divine Beings: Brigit, Brighid, Bast, Aphrodite, Eros, Gaia, and Hesita.

Colours of Imbolc: Yellow, orange, white, green and brown.
