When I opened the box and the book was staring me in the face, I felt the incredible strength of Maub (Maeve). Her raw energy and self-awareness hit you right in the face. I am no historian, so flipping through the cards, I became aware of the fact that there are more powerful women than I was aware of.

The book explains more. I feel like the author Danu Forest and the artist Dan Goodfellow had a unique understanding of a shared vision. The words flow so easily, and being offered prayers, divinatory meanings, and history for each of these Celtic warrior women gives a deeper understanding of the Celts. I flipped through the book and was pleased to find a number of ways to consecrate the cards, not only these ones but also the others you have lurking in the corners of your home.

The back of the book contains information on creating your own sacred space, using the cards, and much more. So I played, I used the formula given to ask a question, and I received an answer. I am not saying I liked the answer, but I did get one. As I say in a reading, you don’t get what you want but what you need. I looked at the other spreads suggested, and I absolutely love the Earth, Sea, Sky spread. The interpretation of the Celtic Cross is also quite special. Of course, with REDFeather, you never have to worry about the quality of cardstock or the box. Both are well-made to endure. This is a good thing, as you will be using these cards on a regular basis.
