Welcome, December
November certainly went out with a freeze, a blizzard, and a ton of snow! If you live in my neck of the woods, you will have received about 3 feet of it. This weekend, we have had a love-hate relationship with snowplow drivers. However, the roads are clear-ish, our driveway is shovelled, and the plow ice debris has been cleared. Part of that is due to a wonderful neighbour, but mostly because my hubby and child did back-breaking work!
Weirdly, Duke is loving the snow this year. He has been outside, bounding around in it like a puppy. I, on the other hand, have been snuggled up, rearranging furniture, and working.
Holiday Open House
December 6, 2025
1 pm – 4 pm
As you know, this Saturday marks our open house. Baking has commenced, starting this afternoon. This open house is geared toward my clients; come around, meet Duke, and do a bit of shopping. For all those who decide to do the journey, my address is at the bottom of my newsletter. Please email if you need further instructions.
Our tree will be going up on Sunday! And it will be decorated. However, the tree topper, in our case, an Angel, will not be on the tree until my oldest son arrives. In our home, our children put the top on the tree every year. My oldest was born in 1985, so he does the odd years, and the youngest was born in 1988, so he does the even years. Even if I don’t see them over the holidays, the tree topper does not go on top. We might have an Angel-less tree this year.
Today’s tasty baking treat? Scones! I like to make those at the start of the holiday season. It gets me back into the baking swing. And I do love to bake. My list of baked goods is very long. I usually post about it on my social media.

In January, I will once again be offering online tarot classes via Zoom. These classes will be recorded for your reference. The class includes a copy of my book and a deck of cards. The classes run for eight weeks and are two hours long. Previous students are welcome to take this class again at 50% off.

In this forecasting workshop, we will pull cards for every month of the year and interpret them together. This workshop will also include a follow-up one-on-one session with me for deeper interpretation. This workshop, which includes three hours of instruction and a one-hour follow-up session, costs $150. I am limiting the workshop to six people. I would say book soon, because I think this will sell out.
New! Victorian Séance!
I am now offering a special type of home gathering. A good old-fashioned Victorian séance! I am keeping these close to home for the winter months. However, there will be some availability for travel, and I will give you a list of dates and locations in the weeks to come. These are designed for small groups of six to eight friends and family members. Invite them over, and I will take care of the rest. Contact me for more information!
