When my good friend Kim arrived, I had a great time showing her around Salem. I think we walked over 10,000 steps each day. All those witchy and divination stores were fun to explore. We may have gained a few pounds due to the restaurants!
On Friday evening, we attended the Witch City divination gathering. The registration table was somewhat disorganized, and the goodie bag consisted only of stickers. There were no handouts. You were to look everything up on your phone, which was a little tiny for these 60-year-old eyes. I guess that is a “me” problem. Also, I really did not enjoy the opening. I prefer something that is a little more organized and structured. And by that, I mean if you were going to have us do something that requires a pen and paper, please have it ready to go, and do not pass them out one by one to a crowd of around 70 people.
On Saturday, I thoroughly enjoyed my first session. It was The Tarot and the Paranormal. Monica, a Canadian, is a terrific speaker; her session was well-organized, fun, educational, and interactive. All the hallmarks of a good speaker at a conference. We went to another session in the afternoon, Tarot and Mediumship. I feel like this could have been a very good session. However, and I must say unfortunately, this was a session directly after lunch, and people were arriving up to half an hour late. I feel like the volunteer from the committee should have done more, or at least something; it was very distracting for all, including the speaker. At one point during this session, the lights started flickering in the hallway, which excited the people and prompted them to rush out of the session and take photos. This left the speaker no time to finish her presentation. On Sunday, I walked around town with my friend Kim and did a little shopping.
It was great to see Kim, as I only get to see her once a year in London. I also got a sneak peek and hold her new deck with Chris Butler. It is called the Arcana 78. And it is amazing. This will be a limited run of 50. I have already ordered mine. I also got to film her introduction to the deck. It was great fun, I don’t think I have laughed so much in a long time. And yes, lobster was consumed.
This is the first time in a year that I have been to Ottawa. So I am looking forward to seeing everyone

First of all, I love anything that comes packaged in a tin. So, absolutely a sturdy box, and the illustration is the Patience card. The cardstock has a nice, heavy feel, and it shuffles like a dream. The colours are dark and moody, which suits this deck perfectly.
So, of course, I had to play with them. They read so well and honestly. I have used them with clients, and they love them as well. The cards shown in the photos are my cards for today.
In – Person Psychic Café is held at my house, the first Tuesday of the month.

Also, I would like to share that there is still availability at the UK Tarot Conference. You can either go to London for Thanksgiving or attend it virtually (interactive and a lot of fun). Learn more.
